I will preface this by saying I believe in a free Palestine and an end to Zionism.

Engaging in this sort of genetic argument implies that, if they were genetically related, then they'd be justified in colonizing Palestine. Just because I can trace my ancestry back to England doesn't mean I'm justified in going back and stealing some non-ethnically English person's house.

Even if we take this argument as valid, the Khazar hypothesis for Eastern European Jews has been disproven by modern genetic research, which indicates they do probably have Middle Eastern origin.

In fact, there is significant archaeological and linguistic evidence that all Jews originate from the Middle East. I will reiterate that this by no means justifies the brutal oppression of Palestinians.
